The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) School Nurse Program is designed to provide BSN-prepared RN's with advanced practice skills to meet the varied health needs of K–12 students.

Overview
This program equips BSN-prepared registered nurses with advanced skills for the specialty practice of school nursing. Students will learn to address the complex health needs within a school community. The program is offered in a hybrid format combining online coursework and in-person practicum hours with a preceptor chosen by the student and approved by the faculty. This program prepares nurses for the National Board for Certification of School Nurses.

Admission Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in all undergraduate coursework
- Unencumbered or unrestricted active RN Missouri license or a license from a compact state
- A current CV or resume
- Official transcripts from all institutions attended
