In May, members of the Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing community traveled to a beautiful all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic with the Alumni Association's Travel Adventures program. In May, members of the Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing community traveled to a beautiful all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic with the Alumni Association's Travel Adventures program.
Trip attendees included alumni, faculty, staff, friends and family members. Some of the trips highlights included enjoying each other’s company while dining and relaxing at the resort.
The Travel Adventures program is led by June Cowell-Oates, EdD, LPC, LCSW, CEAP, director of alumni affairs and program officer of student affairs and diversity at Goldfarb. “These trips are important because it offers our alumni, faculty, and staff the opportunity to participate in unique group travel experiences that continue to strengthen connections within Goldfarb community,” said Cowell-Oates.
This is the Travel Adventures program’s second trip, with the first in 2018 on an Alaskan Cruise.
