CRNA Class of 2024

Ten graduates received a Doctor of Nursing Practice in December 2024, marking the third cohort to graduate with a doctoral degree.

The Nurse Anesthesia Program celebrated its commencement ceremony on Friday, December 13, 2024, at The Sheldon concert hall. Michael Avidan, MBBCh, FCA SA, head of the department of anesthesiology at WashU Medicine, was the guest speaker. Ten graduates completed their nurse anesthesia education and received a Doctor of Nursing Practice, marking the third cohort to graduate with a doctoral degree. Many of these graduates will begin their careers as CRNAs in WashU Medicine’s department of anesthesiology following the successful completion of their certification examinations.
