Have you completed your nursing prerequisites and ready to move forward with your nursing career? Take the next step to your Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) through the convenient Upper Division Option at Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing.
You can receive your degree in just 20 months in the Upper Division Option. This is a full-time, five-term program with classes offered during the day with three terms in a year.
On your way to your BSN, you'll spend 30-40 hours a week in the classroom, simulation lab and in clinical rotations at top hospitals in St. Louis. We are located at the BJC/Washington University Medical Campus in the lovely Central West End area.
Through Goldfarb's accredited Upper Division Option, you'll graduate with diverse, interdisciplinary clinical experience and skills so you'll be well-prepared for your nursing career. You'll collaborate with your counterparts in medical, physical therapy, pharmacy, social work and other related fields to better understand how other disciplines work together to provide patient care.
Your clinical learning experiences include Goldfarb's world-class Clinical Simulation Institute as well as rotations in a variety of health care settings, from rural clinics to urban hospitals, including Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Both simulated and live clinical experiences will develop cultural awareness and increase your competence and confidence to provide exceptional patient care.
