Thinking of changing careers?

Use the education you’ve earned and apply it to Goldfarb School of Nursing’s intensive, one-year Accelerated Bachelor of Nursing program.

This program is designed for highly motivated students who already have a bachelor’s degree in a field other than nursing—from biochemical engineering to performance arts. Instead of starting from square one, this program builds on your previous education and learning experiences.

The Goldfarb Difference

Nursing Students

Goldfarb students benefit from being part of BJC HealthCare, including nationally ranked Barnes-Jewish Hospital and St. Louis Children's Hospital, in addition to our affiliation with WashU. Students have premier access to Magnet-designated nursing institutions and academic health centers.

Accelerated Path to a Nursing Degree

The accelerated nature of the program ensures our students make the transition from education to practice as fast as possible. We tailor testing support throughout the program which has led to consistently excellent first-time NCLEX pass rates.

It Takes a Village

Being located on a medical campus comes with several benefits. The best patient care comes from working with other health care disciplines. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with your counterparts in medicine, physical therapy, pharmacy, social work, and other related fields.

Diversity of Experience

We’re proud to offer a diverse curriculum, with core nursing courses focused on adult care, childbearing, pediatrics, mental health, and community patient populations. And with students hailing from various disciplines, the unique makeup of your cohort is bound to create a distinctive learning environment.

High Tech, Low Risk

We’ve made advanced simulation technology a fundamental part of the clinical learning experience in our Clinical Simulation Institute. The skills labs and hypothetical scenarios are designed to prepare you for challenges you’ll face in the field.

Diverse and Convenient Clinicals

Explore a variety of health care settings and find the right fit for your career. Our rotations will expose you to real-world health care environments in diverse settings throughout St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and St. Charles County regions, from rural clinics to urban hospitals.
